Gregory K Schwarz

Associate

Greg received his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1990 and his law degree from the University of Georgia in 1993. Upon graduation, Greg immediately went to work for the Clarke County District Attorney's Office in Athens, Georgia. As an Assistant District Attorney, Greg handled all types of felony cases and was in charge of the Asset Forfeiture Division of the office. Not long after, Greg was asked to take over the "high priority" caseload, which included high profile cases such as murders, rapes, arson and child molestations.

In 1996 Greg left Clarke County and joined the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office where he continued to handle every type of felony case. In 1999, Greg was named Trial Attorney of the Year for his outstanding advocacy. In 2001, Greg was promoted to Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney and named Solicitor of the DeKalb County Juvenile Court. In these dual roles, Greg handled all cases of juveniles who were being tried as adults for the crimes of murder, rape, armed robbery and voluntary manslaughter, and he managed an office of twenty-one people who handled thousands of juvenile cases each year.

In January of 2006 Greg was hand picked to join the firm of Ross & Pines, LLC. Now, Greg routinely handles all types of criminal cases. Greg is a knowledgeable and effective trial lawyer. Having handled thousands of criminal cases and having conducted over 180 jury trials, Greg's trial experience and knowledge of the criminal justice system makes him an invaluable asset to the clients he represents.
